Our housekeeping team is in charge of making sure that the Inn meets and exceeds every housekeeping sanitation requirement and provides a comfortable and clean environment for our guests.
Responsibilities for our housekeeping team are some of the following:
Tidying up rooms Making beds and changing linens Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste Washing windows Sorting, washing, loading, unloading laundry and folding laundry.
Occasional ironing Maintaining and sanitizing kitchen areas Using cleaning equipment such as brooms, vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools Washing blinds Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements Picking up trash around property and straightening outdoor furniture Housekeeper skills and
Qualifications:
Knowledge of and experience in cleaning and sanitizing rooms Must be able to work in a fast paced environment Willingness to learn new cleaning methods and how to use various pieces of equipment Ability to adapt to different situations and change work processes to accommodate guests needs Listening skills Good customer service skills Reliability Organizational skills Integrity and honesty Must have your own reliable transportation Sundays are a must The shifts are from 9:
30 AM to about 3:
30 PM This is a part time position.
Ideally someone with open availability in the mornings, looking to fill a couple mornings a week as they are not the same days every week.
If you have prior engagements between 9:
30 AM and 3:
30 PM on any day of the week it will be conflicting with the schedule.
Experience is a plus, however, we are willing to train the right person.
Training pay starts at $16 an hour then the pay rate increases to $18 an hour after training is completed.
