We are a vacation rental management company located in Joshua Tree CA.
We area looking for a key person to join our team in a management position.
The right person possesses leadership qualities and is team focused.
Must be self-motivated, willing to learn, open minded, a problem solver and take pride and ownership in this role.
We are looking for someone with experience in the Airbnb, short term rental market.
Must be comfortable with technology.
Experience with property management apps (guesty, MyVR, lodgify, hostaway, hospitable), Google Drive, Slack, Monday.
com a plus.
This position is responsible for the successful day-to-day guest experience, administrative and operations of multiple properties while assuring 5-star standards are met and excellent customer service is delivered.

Responsibilities:
This job requires a combination of skills.
There is the in-the-field work of inspecting the properties to make sure they are ready for check in.
This field work will be the majority of your job.
Eventually you will learn the guest communication side and will help with this as well.
Responsibilities for field work:
Check house, inside and out (use checklist per property) before check in Inventory supplies and re-stock as-needed Report on and send photos to the office of anything that wasn't cleaned properly Clean/fix small issues as-needed to ensure the home is guest ready before guest arrival Skills required:
Great communication skills Multi-tasking Quick problem solving Organization Ability to keep a calendar and organize multiple vendors/events Customer service Ability to self manage and work independently Light handy work Responsibilities for guest communications:
Be the go-to person for our guests and own the guest experience throughout the guest reservation lifecycle.
Ensure property rules and regulations are honored by guests.
Reservation data entry and reservation correspondence with guests through the different platforms used:
Airbnb, VRBO, booking.
com, etc.
Maintain properties by investigating and resolving guest issues, enforcing rules of occupancy and improving guests experience.
Help on-board new properties to join our portfolio.
Skills and
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Bachelor's degree preferred Short term rental management experience Stress-management, time-management, attention to detail and problem-solving skills Required to work weekends and/or extended hours.
Must be able to work an unpredictable schedule and be on-call.
Must have a dependable car and be willing to drive on bumpy, sandy, desert roads.
Have a collaborative and adaptive personality.
Have the ability to multi-task.
Conflict-management skills You must live in the area.
This is a hybrid position with some work from home but some time spent in the field.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
